I don't know anything about accounting or bookkeeping. Is the DIY Bookkeeping Club right for me?

Yes!  DIY Bookkeeping Club is designed to teach you how to do the bookkeeping correctly from the very start.  We believe in learning while doing.  So, during classes, Nina guides you through a routine designed specifically for small business owners doing the bookkeeping themselves.  Asking questions while you work is encouraged.  You'll also have access to our exclusive How-To Library with videos and written instructions.

I'm ready to buy Quickbooks Online.  What do I do?

Hurray!  Go to quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/# to purchase your subscription.  If you're not sure which plan is right for you, we suggest enrolling on the Simple Start plan.  You can always upgrade later if you find you need additional premium features. 

When you login for the first time, Quickbooks Online will offer you a tour.  You can follow the setup prompts they give you or wait until your first DIY Bookkeeping Club class and we'll help get you going.

PS - Don't forget to get your membership to the DIY Bookkeeping Club too!

I don't have Quickbooks Online, but I think I can still benefit from the club.  Can I still join?

Yes, you can join the club regardless of whether you use Quickbooks Online or not.  However, currently all our instruction and How-To Library presume that you are using Quickbooks Online.  But if you're just wanting accountability to keep up with the books every week and month, you are most welcome to join us!

I just need a little help with a few things in Quickbooks Online.  Should I join the club?

You can make a 1-on-1 appointment with Nina any time you need personalized bookkeeping advice and instruction - no membership required.  However, club membership includes a 25% discount for 1-on-1 meetings with Nina.  So, it's up to you!

My books are a MESS.  Is the club right for me?

Yes, the club will help you get a fresh start with your bookkeeping.  During the first classes you attend, you'll be guided through how to reset the books so that you can do them correctly from the beginning of the year onwards.  If you're looking for historical cleanup for transactions that happened before this year, please contact Nina to discuss how Carpetbag Enterprises can help.  

I really want someone to do the bookkeeping for me.

What is the club's cancelation policy?

Cancel your membership at any time.  You can click the "Cancel your membership" link at the bottom of any page of diybookkeeping.club or email Nina.  Cancelations are effective on the last day of your monthly billing cycle.

Help!  I'm a member of the club, but I can't remember how to get to the Club website. 

Our exclusive club member website is diybookkeeping.club.  You can also find a login link at the top of all carpetbagenterprises.com page. Go to the "Home" tab and click "Login to DIYBC".  

My business is based outside of the US.  Can I still benefit from joining the club?

At this time DIYBC's instruction focuses only on US-based business rules and practices. However, members from other countries are most welcome to join us and enjoy the encouragement and accountability to keep up with the books every week and month, which are at the heart of our club.
